Breast cancer is the most common in women and second world. Digital breast tomosynthesis (DBT) an effective medical imaging method. It can reduce overlap of tissue reconstructed images, which beneficial to early detection cancer. DBT uses projection data from a limited range angles simultaneous algebraic reconstruction technique (SART) based Since detector’s field view (FOV) limited, updates large SART cannot include all voxels target, causes truncated artifacts (TPA) at edges image. In this work, we use images by perform re-projection on virtually expanded detector panel gradient calculation method compensate for missing ensure that each update voxels. Experiments simulation human demonstrated TPA be effectively reduced while retaining detailed structure, thus improving image quality border recovering obscured structural information. might provide better result consequential clinical diagnosis.
